Big, but familiar place with smoking and non-smoking tables; it was never crowded during our holiday. Cheapest beer & biggest 'Germknödel' on Schatzberg - best hütte (and hotel !), next to Bergstation.

Best self-service hütte at Alpbach. Crowded at lunchtime (12-14h), but the meals are big and fresh, beer is fine, Jägermeißter is cold...and prices are a bit lower than usual. Who wants more?:) - David I.
