Definitely get the wing appetizer . Great tasting wings piled on top of a mound of fries . All of the beers are good, try the flight and taste them all. Growlers to go are a must whenever I am in town .
Love the wings , mozzarella wedges and and the German pretzel . They always have great seasonal beer to try. I like the the porter the best.
The Enchanted Rock Red Ale is tasty. The fried pickles are really good. They have just enough bite. Not sure about the complaints on the service either. It was great when we were here.
Expect a long wait bit very good food! Had the cheddar ale soup and schnitzel w/ham and swiss, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes , along with microbrewed beer .
The Enchanted Rock Red Ale is one of the better beers I've tried here. The howler bottle is a little pricey but is an awesome souvenir or gift for someone
I had a flight of 8 beers here and they were grrreat! My favorite was the Pioneer Porter .
Best food in Fredericksburg. I I’ve their schnitzel . Potatoe salad and red cabbage outstanding. I could hardly eat it all.
The sausage sampler is typical and good. Large portions with a jalapeño sausage , bratwurst and knurkwurst (so?). Nothing special but good.

Come for the beer only. I haven't had any but the food stinks, I've tried everyone at my table. The has to be better because they're still open for business.
Kids' meals are about the same size as adult portions. Don't fatten up your kids too much here. Split the plate.
Beers are plain and simple: Blonde tastes like water and Enchanted Red Rock has no depth. Thought Peace Pipe Pale Ale had the most crisp flavor profile. Didn't order good based on lackluster reviews.

Food was good (Omas meatloaf & Pork stew ) but didnt care for ANY of the beer here :( we went to Pecan Street Brewing in Johnson City , & beer was so much better & better prices! Skip it for the beer .

Our food came tepid and I had to send mine back to be heated up. Took 10 min but came back hot.

The Reuben was just OK. Definitely not the best we have ever had. Stay away from the fries , they are better than they look. We saw a big line out the door at lunch . I hope they didn't order the Reuben

The meatloaf was not worth the 45 minute wait. Last time I was there I got the Ruben and onion rings . They were good, but don't waste your money on the meatloaf
Enchanted Rock Red Ale is doing it for me but he's liking the Pioneer Porter
Good service , mediocre food at best. Schinken Schnitzel was over-salted and the side salad limp and boring. The "fish & chips " were partially inedible due to oiliness. Fries were soggy.
