The observation tower is a great addition to the park . It sways in the wind (so that it won't break mind you) and offers spectacular views of the Missouri River and surrounding towns .
Cabin 12 is very nice, holds up to six people, lots of windows and in good condition!
Great Family adventures to be had.. Paddleboats, horseback riding , fishing , frisbee golf , swimming hiking , awesome!!!
You can bring dogs. Maybe it depends on the part you go to or who is at the front gate but we had no problems with our pit bull and dachshund.
Love It here. Enjoy staying in the cabins . New ones getting built now too!

The sheltered ice rink is such a cool spot!

CHRISTMAS VACATION
They have trees .
The restaurant is under new management & has a new head Chef....Chef Mike. The food on the buffet was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, hot, very flavorful with a good variety to choose from. - Kelly Stambaugh
Aquatic center closes at 5pm for a lifeguard break. They reopen at 6pm. There are far less people after 6pm meaning more room at the wave pool. - Jen Huynh

The concession store is pretty well stocked. They have pretty much anything you may have forgotten. The riverside campgrounds are really nice. - Megan Kuehler

It's great for walking/biking. The trail goes back much further than it looks upon arrival. Picturesque, especially in the fall. - troy nelson

Paddle boats are $8 for four and $5 for two for a half hour of boating. Reasonable and fun to boat with the geese and otters. - Ranelle Maltas
