Unmissable natural wonder . It's absolutely breathtaking and has to be seen to be believed. Go in the winter to beat the crowds—it's chilly, but worth it to get some clear photos.
Come early in the morning and don't let all the tourists ruin your experience, the blue trail gets busy indeed. Find a nice place to sit and admire the amazing things only mother nature can create.
Park on the road outside and walk through the car park . The charge is only for parking and the visitors centre , so skip on both and save yourself £10.50 per person
I would recommend doing a self guided tour with audio. Do wear comfy shoes & clothes , it’s a lot of walking! Probably my favorite tourism spot in Ireland! Stunning.
A world heritage site. Give yourself some extra time to admire the beauty of the area. Also, you can take a shuttle up and down to the stones for a few pounds/euros.
You don’t pay to go to the Causeway they want payment to park at the visitors center . Park down the road or at Bushmills. Take the red trail to start it’s longer but very beautiful!
One of the UK Natural Wonders - it’s £11 admission which includes parking . It’s about a 15 to 20 min walk from the tourist center. There is a shuttle bus for £1.
Awe-inspiring natural formation. The audio guide is very funny and great to have on the long trek out to the Causeway. The crew are very long-suffering of adventurous tourists in unsuitable shoes :D
Dont go to the overpriced parking . Stop by the road just 500m right from the Nook for free and walk through the gate to the top of the cliff. You'll have a great view !
Some place everyone should see once in their lives. Parking is ample in the off season. High season, and you may want to consider the park and ride from Bushmills.
A definite must see place when in NI - regardless of whatever weather you might face! It’s even pretty in the rain. Really worth it. Cheers to Fionn McCool!!!
I would recommend doing a self guided tour with audio. Do wear comfy shoes & clothes , it’s a lot of walking! Probably my favorite tourism spot in Ireland! Stunning.
Amazing place, scenes from game of thrones! free audio guides . Entry is 9 pounds for adults, careful of the bus services it's NOT free, 1 pound/1.30 Euro
The fourth greatest natural wonder in the UK, folklore tells us the 40,000 interlocking basalts were originally giant-made. Geology tells us it was actually a volcanic eruption. Either way: worth it! Read more
Supposedly you can park on the road for free, but given how amazing the place is I didn't mind supporting them at all. I would love to see them rebuild the rest of the path past the amphitheater .
A walk around the premises, I would love to go here with proper walking boots and take the challenging yellow route. the audio guide was a little short but nice!
Belfast-Causeway-Ballycastle-Larne-Belfast and all for £9 one day bus ticket. Tremendous place! In the Causeway avoid the visitors' centre and go for a scone at the nearby hotel .
March 9, 2013 - We tour and guide ourselves by walking around, evry single views seen are unique!Subhanallah..but its raining, can't snap too much! I've stepped them today..yayy me!Till we meet again
Beautiful area, great walk down to the Causeway, and nice views across the water on a good day. Avoid the overpriced visitor centre - the causeway is actually free to enter.
Tread carefully as you walk in the footsteps of legendary Irish hero Finn McCool. The nearby Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge is another fun stop on the coastal route. - Green Guide Editor
One of UNESCO World's Heritage Sites! It's an amazing natural site! Definitely a MUST-VISIT!
Enjoy the self-guided tour (the children's version is really fun) and make sure you do one of the walks right up the cliff, the view is spectacular.
Do the walking tour - highly recommended. The Nook is a great little pub to grab a pint while you wait.
Sheltered in the new visitors but a bit choppy when you get outside. It has a souvenir shop and a small café . Great place for photos, especially from the top of the cliffs.
Impressive cliffs. But if you want to get rid of all those people, walk the coastal path to the east and soak it up.
Be prepared for all weather: rain, cold, Sun. This is a spectacular place that is well run. A bit of walking but most is on well managed trails and stairs.
Awesome! And no people around early in the morning! Also no entry fee if you hike yourself from up the roof of the visitor center !
The audio guides are free and very cool -- just the right amount of corny to be fun and helpful in finding fun spots at the Causeway -- like Finn's Granny!
If you wanna as much as you want - take the red trails first then the blue back to the visitors center (the causeway one) - especially for 2 hr window of the tour bus .
If just want to see the Causeway you don't have to buy a ticket. The fee is just to access the visitors centre .
Absolutely stunning geological feature. Take an audio tour . Make sure you pack sensible footwear.
Nearly always windy, wet and cold, but that is part of the experience. Be prepared and then there's a nice fire at The Nook at the entrance.
Walk from the top to the bottom of the mountain to appreciate the view of the coast if you are feeling tired catch the bus to the way back!
Amazing place but for some reason while we were there our cellphones thought we were in South Ireland and got roaming charges for browsing, something to have in mind.
It's a magical place, a World's heritage! And after a big walk into giant's... Get a pint in The Nook Pub you will need it! ;)
Absolutely stunning! Worth the trip to Northern Ireland. Also, it's the cover art for Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy.
On a tour to the setting of Game of Thrones. The scenery here is breathtaking.
£6 and an up hill walk for non-national trust members if you don't use the park and ride. Go for a meal at the hotel , you can park there and claim your £6 parking fee back off your meal.
You can catch the bus back to the top even if you don't buy a ticket!
Want a great picture, come early before all the kids start jumping on the rocks.
You don’t have to pay here. Go around the side to the left and over the top.
A must see in Northern Ireland! Amazing landscape! Very beautiful!
Formed 50 to 60 million years ago, during the Paleogene Period, the Giant’s Causeway resulted from successive flows of lava inching toward the coast and cooling when they contacted the sea
A little bit overpriced but a must see ! Be careful slippery rocks !
Great outdoors. If you just wanna walk around, don't pay for the tickets. But you won't be able to use the bus , audio guide or WiFi .
Don't be afraid to take the challenging (yellow ) route. It's just a few stairs extra, but has a great view .
An amazing visit no matter the weather. Geology rocks!
The views are incredible. The land just takes your breath away!
Check the map just outside the main entrance building, go in via the green route for free.
Dont pay the 8.50 you aint here to be ripped off.park in the neuk in front of main carpark have a coffee .covers parking then walk through arch at top of carpark and walk down. Visitorcentre usual scam
Be sure to get a complimentary audio guide. Great entertainment provided by Oscar Winner and Ballycastle's Conleth Hill - Conor Donnelly
Check out The yummy ice cream trailer at Magheracross car park xxxx - Rosie Clyde
Stunningly positioned castle on a cliff top with amazing views out to sea. Well worth the entrance fee. - Carl Griffin
Ireland's oldest distillery. The tour is very interesting. You get to try several whiskeys at the end. - Carl Griffin
Had a great atmosphere when I was there in the evening; live music, Spanish tourists dancing, lit fire. Food is pricey mind. - Hannah Smith
