Excellent Sunday roast with very tender beef . Staff are cheerful, friendly , helpful, and attentive. Make sure you get the extra Yorkshire puddings though - they may be large, but one isn't enough!

Khalid

great climte experance on how is the chic of food and the place ! Lovley food with nice garden in the back of the resturant !

Cintain 昆遊龍

It seems that Tuesday is 'first date night ' @ The Red Lion. Spotted lot of couples doing the awkward testing the water thing. Cute . Very. Just so you know.

Adam Evans-Lee

As of February 2011, The Red Lion re-opened by the same owners of Oxford's famous Trout in Wolvercote. Now serving seasonal, modern British food and drink! Read more

Decent central Oxford pub , and nice little garden which traps the sun well

Michelle Howie

Steak is great, but calzone is poor. Cheese board was dyer and no chutney , tasted off. If anything get the steak , gorgeous !

Maria Claudia

Traditional :) and close to the school and other restaurants

Javier Gago

Amazing decoration but difficult to get a smile from the staff

Susan Dias

Great ambience! Decent Garden & Rothaus on tap !

Steve Graham

Not bad at all for a city centre pub .

Trond Enger

Just don’t! Several others places to eat in the city center. Ok for a beer .

Adam Goddard

Wholefoods salad really disappointing - not as it sounds on the menu at all, everything else was great though !

John Chalkley

Another pathetic £16+ attempt at a burger , chef should be ashamed. Over cooked patty, barely toasted bun . Stilton and bacon ordered was sent over on a plate 10 minutes later, disgraceful, don't bother

Geoffrey Pascoe

Not sure whether it wants to be a pub or a restaurant , and isn't particularly good at either

Angelo Astorri

Ask for specials! Very interesting!

Paul Jackway

Rude and disorganised staff . Sat here for 10 minutes, noone came near the table to take an order. You can do so much better in Oxford.

Virinder Rai

Enjoyed the food... Great service from Robin!

Phil Brook

Great beer garden . Overpriced.

Katy A

Sometimes terribly slow dining service from the staff . Have often taken a menu from the service till as no one around to take my order!

The beef burger is quite nice but I didn't like the beef roast .
