I was not expecting so much sauce on the “Mistake”. The piano roll also had a fair bit of sauce but, was good. Service was great but, you can find common sushi like this anywhere.
Our must have is Spicy Albacore with Ponzu . My 7 year old daughter always has spicy octupus and the spicy albacore . Ask for a side of ponzu - better than soy sauce .
Best sushi in Indy . Friendly staff . My favorites are the spicy tuna roll and asparagus tempura roll .
Best ponzu sauce - love to mix with wasabi and skip the soy sauce . Best rolls: Spicy Albacore , Spicy Octopus , Hidden Dragon, Piano, Hot Romance. Haven't had a roll I didn't love!
The Mistake roll was delicious but the spicy sauce was a mistake. Way too much poured on my roll. And if you get a salad , get the dressing on the side (as with most restaurants ).

4/13 Hot Romance is on special- yellowtail , avocado , jalapeno and topped with lime , mango sauce , and rooster sauce. One of my faves!
The Mistake roll is a must, and seasonal rolls like Mangolicious and Nemo are phenomenal! Be sure to ask about them since they aren't on the menu.
Atmosphere is upscale , but friendly . Way better atmosphere than some of the *other* sushi places in the neighborhood . Great sushi and service.

Feel free to ask them what's "not on the menu ." Nemo, Ichiban and Piano rolls are just a few of the items they offer but don't advertise.
Some of their rolls are made with cooked whitefish and tuna . Not the best.
Good lunch menu . Dry rice but otherwise decent spot.
Get the roll that comes out on fire - so good!
