As you would expect in a traditional fish restaurant, the menu is predominantly a piscine one – haddock, cod, plaice, lemon sole, skate, turbot – but it is extensive and caters for all the tastes with steaks, chicken, salads, vegetarian and slimmer's’ meals.

They promise you a certificate and a free meal if you eat the whale . We didn't get the certificate and had to eat the meal the same night. That's impossible. They misled you.
It's what makes Friday supper worthwhile. Can't go wrong with the fish supper. Pickles are great too!

Good chips , and I enjoyed the breaded scampi . The onion rings weren't great and they only have Pepsi products on draught . Poor decor.
