Wings and Beef on Weck for the win. Fast service . Good waitstaff . Best place to eat in the airport . The hot sauce on the wings is not that hot though. Don't be scared.

Tourist tip: There are other wings , but Anchor Bar created the original --- it's all about the awesome sauce!

Finally compared three of the wings joints in Buffalo..Duff's, La Nova and Anchor Bar..the ranking is in that order...Anchor's suicidal wings ?...not very spicy at all unfortunately.

This might be obvious, but if you want to go to the Anchor Bar, go to the Anchor Bar. Downtown. Not at the airport . This one has an airport concession connection, and it just isn't the same.

Not a bad substitute for the original but prefer the original in d'town BUF. The combo plate comes with wings & the infamous "Beef on Weck " The kimmeweck bun was extremely fresh for an airport vendor.

You can actually purchase three wings for $4.25.

Do NOT get the beef on wick . They use processed beef like subway. Being from Buffalo, I feel this does not appropriately do the classic sandwich justice. Stick to the wings . I am disappoint. :-(

I realized the airport location of Anchor Bar is obviously not the original, but wow I was extremely disappointed in the wings . WAY too salty - I literally had to rub excess salt off the wings . :-(
