Had a delicious lunch meal here today. The grilled fish with red pepper sauce and mash were delicious, as were the desserts . Highly recommended. Friendly staff and speedy service.
Great selection of beers , which all taste excellent and some quite reasonably priced! Consider the IPA especially.
Mackerel pate and steak ale suet pie - very filling and may be too much for two people
Chicken liver parfait was outstanding. Skate Wing and chips also very good

They have a great bar billiards table (not billiards , but "bar billiards "). £1 per game which lasts about 15-20 minutes. One of the few tables left in Oxford!

Great food, amazing food, fun atmosphere and really reasonably priced. I can see this becoming a regular treat.
