The best maple cake donuts or cream sticks around and their butterscotch cream pie is heaven.... oh anything you get there will be fabulous!! ;o)
If you missed the breakfast buffet and the buffet is still up, you can order the salad bar and dine from the breakfast buffet !
I recommend the sampler so you can take leftover home. Broasted chicken is excellent. The salad bar isn't as good as Amish Door. But the location with stores across the street great tourist spot.
Great food! The ribs were delicious as was the shoofly pie . If you are there in Friday evening get there early because there will be a lineup.
The buttermilk cookies are the best in amish country . Everyone else has soft icing, Der Dutchman's has a light crust to theirs. Delicious!
Can't speak for the entire menu, but everything my family tried while here left us raving. From the pork chops to grilled cheese for dinner and the pies for dessert you probably won't go wrong here.
The bakery is awesome!! Not sickeningly sweet you can taste the flavors rather than just sweetnes.... the buffets are awesome as well ... it's just 15 min away from us. ;o)
The country cured ham is delicious, as are the Amish homemade noodles
