Super atmosphere and some of the best breakfast and lunch food in Belfast. It will inevitably be busy so be prepared to wait… it’s worth it. Staff are always welcoming and friendly too!

Ormeau road has 'arrived' with the increasing number of good cafes like General Merchants. Great coffee and breakfasts (nice alternative to the old fry!)

Recently we tried brunch there. Nice menu, tasty food! Very friendly staff & great atmoshere! Recommended!

Great coffee and tasty food. Well worth a visit but be warned there will normally be a queue!

The general , sausage roll and coffee were all lovely . Staff were very helpful and polite ????

Very busy and packed on a Saturday morning. Drinks arrived very quickly but breakfast was slow - and eggs were over cooked, possibly from sitting too long. Waitress apologised. Otherwise flavours good

Nice food freshly prepared. Dim lighting . No Coke .
