A perfect place for your ADK visit. Clean and comfy it's the perfect blend of what to expect from Crowne Plaza with a local decor and charm. Centrally located, walking distance to great food & shops.
Great hotel , friendly staff , comfortable beds . Second stay here. Recommend lake view ...well worth it. One drawback - hotel sits on a tiny hill , so you must walk up a long staircase from main street.
Great location for photos of Mirror Lake . Somewhat "cheesy" decor but very warm and friendly staff !! Love the 1932 bobsled in the common area. Overall, very nice hotel
Most of the positives have been mentioned in other parts except for the beauty of the hotel . The decor is really pleasant and beautiful.
The breakfast buffet has an omelette station, several choices of veggies , cheese , ham/bacon to choose from. Really great if you're trying to eat a hardy meal before heading to Whiteface for the day.
Fantastic staff and a great experience here for hockey tournament . Kids well behaved this weekend. No noise after about 10 any of the 3 nights.
There's a hockey tournament held the first week of January. Tons of kids running around being obnoxious & an unsatisfying buffet dinner to compensate the large group, staff seemed to be overwhelmed.
Great lounge awesome for lunch or dinner . Adirondack Wing is the best rooms.
Beautiful scenic views right when you walk out the front door. Oh, and a beautiful hotel !
Beautiful views . Government/non-profit rates were helpful. I did not eat here... too many great, affordable options down the hill in town .
Nice hotel close to the convention center , great view
People here are so nice! Like being treated as royalty, just pop in and sit around, it's enough to enjoy it all
Under no circumstances should you book this hotel for a hockey tournament . They have 11 teams, 200+ children staying here, and nothing for them to do. Absolutely absurd!
Family suite has more than enough room for four, we even had an extra bed. Facility is old but charming...gorgeous view from the balcony .
Don't come here when there's a youth sports tournament. Kids are yelling and running through the halls. You can hear EVERYTHING that's going on in the hallways loud and clear!
A rustic must to enjoy the Olympic vibe from 1980 as well as the beauty of the mountains .
Bar with a great view
Great views from the hotel across town and mirror lake .
Fantastic views ! Please update the exercise room .
Breakfast buffet is pretty good
They screwed up our reservation and didn't have any more of the rooms we reserved available and they were pretty unapologetic about it. I expected more from the hotel . It looks like a nice place.
Needs a major refurb! Over $500 for my 1970's room.
School hockey team was in town so many kids were running in the hallways and even swearing like sailors. Where are the parents? Avoid this place if you want peace and quiet .
