The 3D printers on the 2nd floor are amazing!!
Admire the doors on the Drillfield and Torgersen Hall entrances. They are the original doors used when the building was constructed in 1955.
Hours for the Fall 2011 semester are: 9am-1pm Sunday; 7:30am-1am Monday through Thursday; 7:30am-8pm Friday; and 9am-8pm Saturday.

The new cafe on the first floor is the place to study. Nice comfortable area with plenty of outlets.
Virginia Tech's library system has a great archives section and lots of Virginia history items.
Fuel up: Greenberry’s Coffee Co. runs a Study Cafe on the ground floor.
The best spot in the Library has to be on the 5th floor, the desks inside the book aisles.

Try to get a table on the fourth floor with outlets on it. You can keep your computer(and distractions) charged up.
Find a public access defibrillator between the elevators on the first floor .
Get insanely frustrated with the atrocious wifi .
The cushy chairs on the 3rd floor are awesome for naps
