You can put your own boat in this lake if you get a permit from the town of Lake Lure, however, you can only put your boat in on weekdays.
Outside of in the immediate vicinity of the lake , don't expect much in terms of a signal if your phone is on Verizon. The resort does have wifi available, though.
A beautiful resort located in the North Carolina mountains . The site for filming some scenes from the movie Dirty Dancing in the 80's. Lovely Lake and the resort had activities abound!
