It’s so much fun to go searching for the little fairy houses hidden through the park . Esp fun around Easter as eggs and jellybeans (dont eat them!) are also hidden throughout the park .
Walk the labyrinth and meditate on the 12 points of the Scout Law - words everyone can live by. Got goosebumps my first time..
Pileated woodpeckers are common throughout the park . They leave rectangular holes in trees as they dig for insects- search for these in the park !
The "Fit-Trail" has 16 stations and is a pretty good workout; pair it with a trail run for some awesome circuit training !
Beautiful trails . Great for picture taking!
This is a wonderful example of a peaceful nature park
Butterflies galore along the paths
Great place to start young kids on hiking or fishing
Beautiful. Definitely a gorgeous place
Its like running in Wonderland
It's a nice little park with tennis courts, a fishing pond, soccer fields, a playground, and picnic pavilions. The locals love it, but it's not worth traveling far ;) - Joel Bennett
Would be awfully nice if people would actually watch their kids! Too many little ones getting knocked around by bigger kids who are just dumped off there. - Robin Scheuer
