Their "old cheese " is an amazing sharp cheddar made specially just for them, and my father-in-law is addicted to the pickled limes (yeah... I made that face, too). The barrel pickles are great, too.

Definitely buy some candy ...I've been getting candy here every summer for as long as I can remember! Cool old fashioned cash register with the pop-up price tabs

Michael Kolowich

Buy something here, and watch in amazement as the store clerk calculates the purchase by writing the amounts on a paper bag and hand-adding the columns, then rings it up on an antique cash register .

Jeff Lee

Penny candy for 2 cents and sour pickles . Can't go wrong.

Todd Rademacher

Great stop. Little bit of something for everyone.

Irene Facciolo

If you go on a rainy day - the crowd can be dense. Still fun to go any day though.

Stephanie

Get a pickle from the barrels up front and some peppermint puffs.
