The Monument Café is a locally owned and operated restaurant designed to be reminiscent of the Texas roadside cafes of the 1920's to the 1940's. We serve only fresh meats, vegetables and desserts. Everything we serve is cooked and prepared in the restaurant by our employees. We buy as many of our vegetables as possible from local farmers as well as raise several vegetables and spices in our own garden. Our meats are free of hormones, antibiotics, steroids, and animal byproducts. We serve Horizon and Organic Valley dairy products as well as free-range yard eggs. We want you to have a great meal, friendly and professional service, and to leave the restaurant feeling that you received value for your money and wanting to return.

This place did a great job giving the atmosphere of an old diner . Chicken fried steak is awesome. Not a far walk from the downtown shops and the blue hole park .
Everything about this place is good. Love that their foods are fresh, local, organic , and most of all delicious. The biscuits and fresh squeezed orange juice are the best! The coffee is excellent too.
This cafe is the worst-kept secret in Georgetown. Near downtown Georgetown, it is always humming. Enjoy the biscuits they bring out, and try the liver-and-onions or turkey sandwich .
Little pricey but doable. Pancakes are good. King ranch casserole was amazing. If it is your first visit you get a free piece of pie . We'd do it again. Service is a little slow. Monument pie AMAZING!
Great right next to the blue hole so go eat then swim at the blue hole . I also love their own store and how they grow a lot of the food there
It's true !!!! If its ur first time here you do get free pie ! And they have addictive gluten free chips as well as paid attention to my food Allergy!
Great homestyle food with an old-school cafe style . Definitely recommend the key lime pie with a nice cup of house coffee .
The food here is amazing! Sometimes there is a wait for your food but other than that this is my favorite place for breakfast and brunch .
Best veggie burger I've ever had. Delicious fries . Delicious grilled tomatoes . Squash . Salsa is excellent. Love the music They play. Love the whole look and atmosphere.
Great spot for breakfast and lunch . The service is good and the wait staff are nice. Can be a little expensive , but it’s worth every penny.
This is the best diner I've been to! Fantastic array of fresh and healthy choices , but also wholesome entrees to spoil yourself with...

This place was featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives and it is great!! Try their orange juice and their pancakes are huge. Haven't had anything bad here!!
My favorite thing is the king ranch casserole .Heard about them on a Food Network show and have loved there food and service. :-):-)
Chili Cheeseburger is totally awesome! We have eaten here several times. And our waitress was an angel, she has wings to prove it!
The salmon board is great, nice light breakfast . Get there early, it sells out often!
Nice 1950s style diner . Good pancakes and avocado toast
This place is absolutely the most awesome place to eat. Everything was homemade down to the pie . Our server was a sweetheart and kept us constantly in tea and coffee .
I love this place but I feel like my food is always forgotten and I have to ask multiple times for it. Other than that, I love this place.
House made, fresh squeezed Lemonade was worth the $5.
Cinnamon Roll is home-made and outstanding! Cary Michael Cox
They’ve got just four single-use restrooms for the entire restaurant . It’s not very efficient for a restaurant this size, and can cause long lines .
Just blocks away from the square are the legendary Monument Cafe for homecooking and El Monumento for delectable interior Mexican.
Ooo! hostess said you get a free dessert if it's your first time here!
Spacious and lively but not loud . Good home cooking .
The pancakes are huge, and the juice is freshly squeezed.
They are knowledgable about gluten and have options including gluten free buns ! Ask for Donna, she's a sweetheart.
They have amazing pancakes -the best! Also, they have an awesome chocolate shake .
Excellent breakfast made with fresh produce . Delicious!
Anything art deco is my favorite. The food is good, too!
Worth the drive for chicken & dumplings , homemade meatloaf & crunchy-fried catfish w/ hearty sides of seasonal, locally grown vegetables . They source the ingredients from nearby farmers - go local!! Read more
Lotsa gluten free options . Even onion rings and fried chicken . Just ask!
Must try the hot chocolate ...it is perfection in a cup.
Very good service and awesome desserts ! Five stars for sure
Cheese burger tastes like it came fresh off my backyard grill. Very good! Great mashed potatoes and gravy .
The strawberry lemonaide is delicious.
One of the okayest experiences I've had with amazing food
Some menu changes recently. Quality and service are still great.
Get the Cinnamon Roll $5
I got eggs Benedict&it was gr8. I was expecting slow service bc of all the past posts but they were pretty quick (we came at brunch ) U do get a free piece of pie for 1st timers but u have 2 mention it
Try the Strawberry Lemonade it is the best I have ever had.
Biscuits n gravy ... They know how it's done!
Chicken fried chicken was great...A must try dish
Important to note: The "Veggie Fries " are dredged in rice flour , so if you're on a low or slow carb diet... These are probably not for you. (They're really good though.)
Great selection of Texas micro brews too!
Ask for bryana or valerie they will take real good care of you! And you have to try the deserets!
Food never disappoints. A classic diner restaurant without much of the "greasy-spoon" feel.
Biscuits , Mac & cheese , sandwiches and salads .
A little disappointed they couldn't get eggs over easy right. Also did not bring me the OJ I ordered with my breakfast . When paying 10 bucks for 2 eggs you would hope it was done right.
Burgers sweet tater fries and pickles and their sauces are fantastic - Robby Winfield
The Square in Georgetown has some great shops. There are several antique shops, a museum, a theatre and several nice restaurants. Try to check it out during the Red Poppy Festival. - Social News Network
I love IKEA! They have very good showroom. And you can find lots of useful stuff for your home there. And prices are very reasonable - Анна Коршенко
A really nice store that offers a wide selection of products. They also prioritize inclusivity and sustainability. If you're looking for a pleasant shopping experience, this is a go-to store. - Policarpo al Fresco
