This tour is awesome. Highly recommended and they fit in a lot of hands-on demonstrations considering they cover three different crops and production processes: coffee , sugar , and chocolate .

Probably our favorite single activity in Monteverde: a tour of a coffee , sugar , and chocolate plantation. Great guides. Great demos. And even some hands-on activities.

Nice tour on a farm run by a local family. Beware of the "saca" at the end of the sugar part.

Made some sugar , chocolate , tried some coffee . Good tour , kids loved it. 

I learned a lot. Well worth the tour .
