Rented Cabin in late May. Green, peaceful . Spent a day running bike trail which meanders through the park . Rented kayaks being disinfected after each use. Laid out on uncrowded beach . Friendly staff
Campsites roomy & well cared for, boats to rent, fishing , hiking , playgrounds , picnics , wildlife , beach (read algae advisory), bikes , campfires , camp store, nature center, calm lake , friendly staff .
I grew up close by and going here as a child and love to visit now with my family!
Trail 4 is the best - see springhouse, cemetery , osprey nest and nice lake views . Decent hills .
Look for the bald eagle in a tree near the East boat ramp
