Small place but really good. The plaka gyro will change your life and the Chicago gyro is pretty good too. They have a beer and wine selection also if you want grownup beverages with your meal.

Have a group? Get the mezze sampler! All the dips are good (LOVE the caviar one) and the spanikopita is huge! My go to items are the lamb kapana and bifteki .

Had the pork gyro today on the recommendation of the dude behind the counter. It was okay. Not nearly as good as the "Chicago style " (which I also got). Both to go. I'm sticking with the Chicago.

The warm pita holds spit-grilled pork and is finished with a handful of crispy French fries . Dips such as kalamata-olive tapenade and tyrokafteri make nice shares with lightly griddled pita .

The avgolemeno soup is insane. Every age of our family loves it -- it's savory, lemony, yummy. We also like the gyro meat salads .

I went to Greece this summer and Plaka has seriously authentic gyros and other Greek food . Closest thing I have had to being in Athens!

The food is amazing. The meat is tender and juicy and the homemade pita are fantastic. Definitely on my repeat list.
