Best summit lodge in CO. Lots of space, great food, clean spacious bathrooms , and they even have ping pong tables ! Don't forget to pack your Amex in your ski jacket pocket.
The view is amazing, of course. For the food: the chili beef was good, and the pad thai also good. Try their hot chocolate !!
You can never go wrong w/ daily grill specials. Check the calendar for live bluegrass and fun events . Fyi climbing wall and bungy trampoline close at 330pm (save a ton w/ the punch pass)
The pulled pork sandwich and mixed salad with grilled ahi tuna and sunflower seeds are delicious. Burgers and soups are also solid.
Got married here 6-24-16. An unreal view . Great price for elopements.
Taking the Gondola is definitely easier than hiking to the top. Kudos to you though if you hoofed it, you're a glutton for punishment!
Wednesday mornings: seriously amazing breakfast at 11,212 feet $25 with a lift ticket, just $35 with gondola foot pass. First Tracks after breakfast rule also.
