I just find bridges interesting & this one is very interesting. The design & all looks awesome. Maybe one day I will get that far west & see it in person. Till then I can like it from afar.

High Trestle Trail Bridge at 30 minutes drive to the north of Ankeny Dental Professionals

There is a parking lot by the above address listed and it is the closest place to to park on either side of the river .

Went to High Trestle Bridge last Saturday, awesome place to bike ride and sight see at the same time. The trees were gorgeous!

Come by at sunset and stay for the light show... awesome

Go see the bridge at night! Very pretty!

Very cool. They lights go off at midnight so plan for that

Go see an Iowan sunset and see the bridge light up! Amazing!

Horses and walkers/runners are also allowed on parts of this trail .

Bike path goes from Ankeny to Woodward through Slater and Madrid.

Definitely not enough Iowans checking in. Lets go Iowa !! :)
