Good place to see various hand crafted 18th century artifacts , painting , armour and weapons, jewels. Great place 4 art n history lovers. U need at least 2 hours to cover the whole musuem.
This museum houses one of the biggest one-man collections of antiques of the world by Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III. The objects d’art include Persian carpets, Moghal miniatures, etc.
This is one of the best museums in the country . Plan to spend a good amount of time at the museum . The AudioGuide instruments are really helpful and affordable . Bring a govt. ID to get them issued.
Lots of amazing pieces here from India, the Far East, and Europe. Museum itself could use a little sprucing up.

Must see in Hyderabad .. Rebacca is a master peice and you can also see some old panitings as well .
Visit it at 12 'o' clock ....U can experience 12 amazing rings of the famous watch at salarjunh museum .....

unless u r totally into d history of nizams,don't waste ur time here.none of the exhibits hav any kind of information reg.where they are from and what's their importance. this museum is a fucking joke

My colleagues insisted that I should have tea and biscuits near the 16th century Charminar Mosque at the end of our working day in Hyderabad - they were right. Wonderful place. ????☀️ - Peter de Jong
