Great Museum to learn all about the 47th State . It's all about New Mexico. Sidewalk fills up with Native American merchants with beautiful art to sell.
Exhibits covering the history of New Mexico. Dabbles in a little of everything, but at times seems to defer to other topical museums in the area for in-depth discussion (ex. light on native culture.)
Informative and well curated museum on the interesting history of this exceptionally unique state . Lots to learn about and from.
Highly recommend. Very informative. Expansive exhibits on broad topics . I dare say something for everyone. So worth it.
Great museum and it's free on Sundays. Learned a lot about the state seal on the guided tour , find 6 unusual things about it!
Great museum with interesting displays, changing exhibits , and a variety of lectures and festivals . A membership is well-worth the cost!
On Sunday, New Mexico residents get in free. It's definitely worth the $9 for non-residents, though.
Worth it for the Fred Harvey exhibit alone. Plus it has a great museum store.
Slanted towards colonialism. Covers minimal information about native tribes and glosses over the abuses the native people endured from the Spanish.
I work here! It's a wonderful museum with millions of things to see and do! Be sure to check it out when you get the chance!
Well-curated collection that tells full story of New Mexico.
All of the state museums are free on Sundays.
It's wonderful place
Find out how the west, or at least this part of the west, was won.
Desde as disputas com índios americanos e espanhóis até os dias de hoje, passando pela histórica explosão da bomba atômica em Los Alamos. Vale a visita.

Fantastic pottery collection and well curated museum - worth it for the Maria Martinez alone. - eric bornemann
Small museum with some interesting paintings in the permanent collection, but value really depends upon the special exhibits. Do check out the beautiful theater that’s part of the museum. - eric bornemann
