You feel like you have been teleported into a medieval film set when walking through the castle gates; especially at night!

I quote a sweat shirt I saw in Carcassonne: "In Cassoulet We Trust". (after take a good walk around the castle to digest the meal)

The visit of the castle is okay but not very fantastic. The view from the ramparts was the best part for us. Quite a shame that the western ramparts were closed but we still had to pay full price.

You can get right up on the ramp parts. Very cool and accessible fortress with a lot of history.

Maravilloso lugar. Te puedes "hartar"de ver murallas,torres,almenaras..muy buenas vistas de la ciudad y alrededores.(¿como coño lo hacían para pensar en atacar esto en la edad media?..)

De noire é impactante. Tem que ser visitada com calma, de dia e à noitinha. As logjams fecham às 18:00. É muito linda!

Evidemment, un très bel endroit, pas mal de fresques et sculptures sont "touchables". La disponibilité d'audioguides à l'accueil est un plus considérable mais prevoyez des casques audio.

Fuera de temporada la visita es gratuita. Vale un montón la pena
