A difficult, steep hike with a beautiful payoff at the end. This trail is great if you want to pack in an intense workout without wasting more than 2 hours. Loved it!

If you have ample water and gortex keep going up Aspen MTN and take gondola down. (2 hrs up from base for the getting in shape people)

We ran into a bear cub on the way down, and realized how ill prepared we were. Don't climb trees . Don't run. Make yourself look big and make noise.
