The stream you see in the gardens is Oxford's own 'lost river ' the Trill Mill Stream. In the 1930s it was dredged and a Victorian punt with three skeletons on board was discovered blocking the stream.
Laid out in 1926 on the site of The Green Dragon Pub and yard.
