Lovely park and green houses with interesting as well as common plants known from spices and daily life. Can't believe we waited so long to go.
You can find Lyra and WIll's bench by following the river until you see two benches back to back against a tree . Their bench is the one with their names carved into it. Confused? Read Northern Lights .

Lyra and Will agree to sit on a bench in the back each year on Midsummer's day. Also inspired Lewis Carroll's "Alice" and JRR Tolkien's Middle-earth.
Beautiful garden with conservatories. Worth a visit, it’ll take 1-2 hours.

The stream you see in the gardens is Oxford's own 'lost river' the Trill Mill Stream. In the 1930s it was dredged and a Victorian punt with three skeletons on board was discovered blocking the stream. - Adam Evans-Lee
