Big place in a prime location. Cocktail happy hour starts at 6 and is great value at 4€ a glass. Tasty Käsespätzle come in casserole big enough for 2 people easily. Value for money
Absolutely fantastic nice place. Excellent price quality ratio.
Food is not bad, edible. There are lots of other places around. Worst service ever. The place was almost empty, they took care of the guests sitting at the curbside rather than the few ones inside.
Ok food (not something special), but bad service. And the waiter tipped herself from our change (!)

Good cocktails , but if the bar is full the waitresses behave unprofessional and are very unfriendly.

Super leckere Waffeln zum Samstagnachmittagstee. Der Apfelkuchen war auch extrem lecker, leider sich das Kaffee+Kuchen-Angebot nicht auf Tee erweitern.

Took a student-led tour and he gave us lots of background on the castle. Great views of town from a couple of vantage points. World's largest wine cask is huge! Many stories about footprint on terrace - Mickey

Marktplatz is terrific! You can watch the Schloss while enjoying a coffee, the Weihnachtsmarkt in Christmas is awesome, the souvenir shops are great and Max Bar is the local Pub for Heidelbergers. - Alvaro Lachner
