The Crumlin Road Gaol dates back to 1845 and closed it's doors as a working prison in 1996. After extensive renovations the gaol has re opened as a visitor attraction and conference centre.

It's a must-see place. It's worth going there. I learnt many things.
One of a kind experience. A tour worth doing if your into history. Gritty, interesting, touches your heart & shocks you. Tour guides are hilarious & answer your questions with fact & great humour.
Very interesting to learn about the history of the jail and about Belfast through it. The jail can only be seen on a guided tour , so be sure to have 2 hours dedicated it.
