You come for the beer but you stay for the chicken and waffles !
It's a good thing they don't have pillows at the bar or else I'd live here. The bartenders and staff are extremely knowledgeable of their product and the tour was nothing short of awesome. DRINK UP!!!
Wisely set on a gorgeous old 150-acre hop farm near the Baseball Hall of Fame, Ommegang specializes in Belgian-style ales & knows that beer is only part of the equation for a great brewery experience. Read more
Great beers plenty of sitting inside and out. Food was good. Tour is free tasting afterwards cost $5.00 for about 5 tasting. Only complaint it took 45 minutes for our food to come. They beer to go.
The beer was great and so was the food. They have parking and indoor and outdoor seating . I had the beer flight pictured and the we're all amazing.
The tour is a tad short but the $3 tasting is a nice bang for your buck. The tour guide gives a nice explanation and history of what you're tasting. Plus you get to keep the glass...sweet!
Ommegang brews some of the country 's best Belgian ales and is well worth the trip. The grounds are impressive and the brewery has regular tours , a tasting room and cafe and a concert series.
Get here early for tasting and tour tickets, then eat at the cafe . Food better than the beer (try some of their partner beers ), tour is quick and not that insightful.
The cafe has a great menu and plenty of Belgian style beers to help wash it all down. The chicken and waffle was delish.
GORGEOUS Brewery . DELICIOUS beers . What more could you ask for? Get to BCTC in the summer (Go VIP, it's worth it).
I just did the beer tasting with my girlfriend. The beer here is excellent! I recommend the rare vos , a very tasty amber that might become a staple or my beer diet if I can find it on Long Island .
Tours fill up so check in as soon as you arrive and don't expect to walk right on to a tour . Cafe waits can get long, too, so put your name in before your tour starts. Cafe is worth it.
Of course the beer is great. Be sure to try the beers that they don't distribute and then check their store for beers you can take home.
Get the pommes frites and a bowl of Three Philosophers ice cream in the cafe .
The servers are knowledgeable , so ask them if you need help choosing a beer . The food is amazing. Sit outside when you can for a gorgeous view .
Tasty beer . Get the flights. Nachos were delicious as was the tomato soup !
Great brewery . Had a beer paired meal which was excellent. Friendly staff . Beer , predominantly Belgian style, is top rate.
The croque madame was delicious! And I could drink a gallon of that cheddar ale soup ! 😝
Do not skip the tasting! One of the best fun things I have done in a long time
Perfect time to get there is 11:30. Sign up early for the 1pm tour . Sneak in lunch at the cafe and a tasting. CHICKEN & WAFFLES ARE A MUST!
They have BINGO every Sunday from 11-1 and give away amazing prizes. Be sure to make it!
Be sure to call ahead, as they sometime have events that close the entire brewery for the day. Buy a Game of Thrones beer !
Food is very good for a brewery and the cafe is very picturesque. The employees are very friendly and helpful
Do the tasting. 6 beers on tap . Loved the 3 philosophers cherry flavored beer flavored beer . Great with chocolate .
Awesome beer and fantastic food. Must visit! Definitely want to return. Great recommendations for food and drink. Very impressed.
Beware the Gnommegang! Sure, he sounds cute but he packs a wallop.
The beer here is great, but also I had an incredible chicken sandwich I won't soon forget.
Fantastic! Great craft brew , and food was solid. And A LOT of very lovely ladies.
You can do the tastings with the experts, scheduled every 30 minutes or just buy a flight - same price and great taste but less info.
Check out my article about this great eatery . A must check out for those heading to the Cooperstown area. http://www.examiner.com/cheap-eats-in-binghamton/cafe-ommegang-eat-drink-and-be-merry-review
Nothing short of amazing. Love the outdoor space too!
Steve was an awesome tour guide. Also get the tasting. It's a generous amount of beer for a small cost.
Drink your end of season sorrows away with several GOT beers .
Be prepared for a shit show of people... And get there early if you want to do the taster session. They sell out by 1 usually over weekends, even off season.
You must get the truffle aioli if you get the frites ! Go for a tasting too, only $3.
Beautiful brewery with great brews!
Do the tour and tasting room for $3. Tours run hourly during the week but every 30 minutes on the weekends.
Tastings on the half hour ($5), tours on the hour (free). Do them both, in that order.
The beer tasting and the tour !! Try their condiments. Delicious
Beef stew was wonderful, with a slight smoked taste which I liked a lot. No tour at 5pm although it says so on their Internet site :(
Bring cash for the beer truck and BBQ outside!
Bourbon Adoration is the best, ask Carie the waitress , she'll tell ya!
Chicken waffles and pulled pork are amazing.
Tasting glasses that you get to keep. They make cool shot glasses
Belgian pretzels , beer tasting , brewery tour . All the beer 🍺 !!
Their new B.I.D Double White is awesome! Great replacement for their Fleur de Houblon!
Peep the lineup for summer shows and make the trek out here. Absolutely worth the drive.
Excellent visit! Great Tour , Great Food & Great Atmosphere. A must visit for true beer lovers.
They screwed up BIG. Traveled from NYC. Misinformation from staff on phone that tours that day were every half hour. Get there, told every hour, and booked up. Zero accountability by staff . Disgrace.
The food here is incredible! You MUST order the frites with truffle aioli .
Great gosé beers, okay everything else. Food overcooked - Scott Hansen
Visited 10 years ago and finally was able to come again... so much amazing knowledge and incredible artifacts to read and view - not many interactives tho!!! Whole town is all baseball, loved it!! - Andrew C
Lots of free samples. Make sure to taste the hard cider.. Very good! Lots of baked goods and other yummy treats. We had an apple cider donut sundae which was incredible! Amazing place! - Amanda Lee
Fantastic burgers, try the zealous with sweet potato fries. Super friendly service! - Stephany
