Could have spent the entire day here and nearly did! It's been a long time dream to visit the baseball Hall of Fame!
An amazing experience for those who love the game of baseball . Start on the second floor for exhibits detailing the history of the game through the decades.
This is where the game's immortals are enshrined. The heart of the museum is the Hall of Fame gallery . The gallery has a plaque for each of the players who have been elected to the hall.
Visited 10+ years ago and finally was able to come again... so much amazing knowledge and incredible artifacts to read and view - not many interactives tho!!! Whole town is all baseball , loved it!!
I was here as a kid and then for the Piazza / Griffey Jr. introduction. While crowded , they did a great job of keeping order. The hall itself is incredible, but the whole place is worth a visit.
So much history! Fantastic place to visit for any baseball fan . Free wifi available. Gift shop on lower level. Don't miss the video in the theater .
The Plaque Gallery on the first floor is awesome, but MAKE SURE you spend time in the Records Room on Floor 3. It has a case with World Series rings all the way back to the 1900’s.
Great to see at least once. Young kids get bored quickly. Bring reading glasses and start on the 2nd floor. You need at minimum 3 hours and that's moving quickly.
The greatest in the sport are honored here. $23 admission. Winter months give you the whole place to yourself. Make sure to visit the gift shop .
A must see for any baseball or sports fan . Don’t bring the kiddos if they don’t have much patience. 😉
A lot to see on 3 levels. Be sure to visit sections on Negro League and Women in Baseball on level 2. "Who's on First?" is great on 3rd floor. Gift shop is huge, so leave time for that.
Go into the plaque hall near the end of the day. All the kids are gone and only the real fans remain. Its quiet and you can really enjoy the room in peace ... Like it's meant to be
This place is fantastic. I took my 12 year old son and we soaked it all up. The history and artifacts are incredible. As they say, baseball is all about stories, some of them are true.
You can touch the HOF plaques for good luck-Time goes by fast inside-Museum is so organized-some floors carpeted, good for being on feet.Lots of places to sit-Honus Wagner card is not always on display
History, passion, baseball ...an awesome experience. Make sure to check out the video on the second floor and the Art of Baseball on the 1st floor!
A lot of exhibits are old + dated museum-wise, but don't miss the interactive video screens for clips and also for baseball records. The actual hall plaques are kind of disappointing, but hallowed
Red Sox fan? Check out some great memorabilia : Fisk's bat from Game 6, Williams' hitting grid, Yaz's 6-Shooter. There's a lot here, so take your time.
Pro Tip: GO IN THE DEAD OF WINTER! Went in January and basically had the entire museum to ourselves.
Everything was awesome if you like baseball this is the place to go!
If you know you're going within the year, buy the membership to hall of fame in December. Its sold at a reduced price on their website, but with all the perks.
The individual lockers for each team are great. Check out the white sox one
Royals fan? Be sure to find George Brett's infamous pine tar bat and the relive the exact moment when he flipped sh!t: <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="https://youtube.com/watch?v=PrTYdlaqtxE"target="_blank" data-sig="M4zajI+hOXIrsdTVNAjg6uBiXm0=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">https://youtube.com/watch?v=PrTYdlaqtxE</a>
Definitely pays homage to the game in a professional way. Great venue.
Very informative though it soft peddles some of the bad behavior of the players it celebrates
Very nice museum . Start at the top floor and work your way down.
It's tempting to go during HOF weekend, but be prepared for massive crowds and not being able to take your time as much to see everything.
Give yourself at least 3 hours for this museum . Start at the top (3rd floor) and work your way down!
Cooperstown is a great little town that's all about baseball , and it comes alive during induction weekend. The event includes an exhibition game and the free induction ceremony. Read more
Yep, there are Marines in the Hall of Fame. Check out the plaques of Rod Carew and Roberto Clemente to learn more about these Marines and baseball legends.
AAA discount , have your card ready so you don't have to hold up the line at the counter. & don't forget your sweater- it gets chilly.
Baseball 's mecca. If you are a sports fan , you have to visit this place. One of the best experiences I've ever had.
There is always a great debate for the best class , but try this instead: try to figure out the greatest sections of walls in the great hall.
Open until 9pm in the summer. A must-see for any baseball fan .
Ceremony starts at about 1:30pm. It is free to attend, but be sure to arrive early to claim your spot (bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on).
beautiful place, I can't believe it is in the middle of gods country like it is. If a baseball fan , you must go, even if its to say that you have been there!
Come for the baseball . Stay for the more baseball .
Baseball fan heaven and adorable town !
Home to the greatest of American sports .
Take your time in this amazing museum . Absolutely breathtaking.
Portable restrooms are available at the Ceremony, and the local high school will be selling water, drinks, and other refreshments.
Try Sal's Pizzaria for lunch or dinner . You won't be disappointed you did!
Military discount for active duty soldiers....but not spouses! I'd say a swing and a miss!
Great museum for baseball fans , enthusiasts and newbies.
Your AAA card will save you $2/person off the admission.
Check out Curt Schilling's bloody sock from the 2004 ALCS on the third floor! Go Red Sox!
Bring a sunshade and sit way back on the crest of the hill . The view is glorious.
