Awesome, almost entirely vertical 1.5ish mile hike that leads to a terrific view and epic sense of accomplishment.

A must do hike but prepare for the iron rings and ladders ! Great views across the island

Loved this, even on a foggy day! A little strenuous but so fun! A great introduction to Acadia’s famous rung and ladder trails . We went around 7am and only saw a handful of people.

Tim Tasche

Super exciting hiking trail . Climbing is also possible here! Very recommendable, the view rewards the efforts.

Marie La Rue

Fun, challenging trail with lots of vertical climbs . It’s rather short and the reward is breathtaking views !

One of the best hikes I’ve done. It’s very doable, and very beautiful even during the winter. Make sure to wear carabiners for winter hikes though. - Ali
