The visitor centre cost £20 for family ticket; about the same as a round of drinks lasted longer.There's is a lot to read on the way out. enjoyed local boat trip owner trying to con the world recently

To disagree with the other reviews. We found this place interesting. Sure it's not the family day out with animated monsters and interactive displays but the tour is well thought out and interesting

Get a boat trip and go out on the loch, its the best way to see the castle .(Urquhart) and lets face it you'll not see the Monster in the visitors center!

A good attraction for those interested in the geology and history of Loch Ness. Does Nessie really exist in those dark murky waters? Your given the facts, so you decide ;-)

I agree, it was disappointing. The last room before the gift shops was the best part - more like a museum , which is what I was expecting throughout. The previous seven rooms were movies w decorations

Worth a look but a bit dated and expensive , though not as expensive as the shops

They took 1 hour of my life and I paid 8 pounds for it. Not worth it at all. Nothing special. Leave it behind! Go to the castle !
