I lived this place. This is a ruin on the side of the loch Ness . I like seeing how things are and do not really like remodeled castle . There is a lot of history given for you to appreciate

Easily accessible and cool castle ruins . Be prepared to jostle other tourists and children while touring the grounds, as it can get quite crowded .

Good for Nessie hunters with views across Loch Ness from the tower. Not much left of the ruins but important part of Scottish History nevertheless.

The Citylink buses stop at the castle 's parking lot , but you can also walk from Drumnadrochit to take in the view (around 3 km, quite easy)

The film is very interesting with a nice surprise at the end. The castle grounds are beautiful and very scenic .

A must see. View the film at the Visitors Centre to get a good perspective and then take your going through the site.

Well worth a visit if in the neighbourhood...

Give yourself longer than an hour to visit the ruins . Be careful on the spiral staircases if it is busy.

It was already closed when we went so we just had a look from the top of the highway.

Ridiculously busy in summer, so many people that the one person selling tickets resulted in a very long queue before 10am. Go early or avoid in summer.

It was really nice but a bit small. Don't plan more than 2 hours for it.

Vistas impresionantes al lago Ness. Colas bastante largas, así que ve con tiempo. El parking no es muy grande.
