Lunch buffet was nice, and this is a cool old world hotel ...heavy classic Brit influence. Don't think I'd lodge here, needs some TLC. But a cool grand dame.
Matches some of the best food I've had yet, but for the price it was a blast. Masala fish fry , Mangalore fish curry , chicken clear soup , chicken tikka . I could write about each one, even the bread .
The jaw dropping Maharaja suite with amazing antique furniture and a turn-of-the-century bath tub and shower system.
Is a little old and decadent but is a gorgeous building from the Maharahas epoque that of course deserves a visit

People generally come here for the buffet which is quite cheap. But do try the Dal makhani here. Also the tomato chutney that comes with the papads before starters is awesome! - Pema Bhutia
