The National Trust has recently opened a tea shop with comfy seats and lovely chairs and tables in the garden . This is extra to the cyclists ' caff.

Great pit stop for cyclists of any level, and everything you buy helps fund the National Trust which is always a winner.

Don't cycle, get a horse. It is easier an then get some tea and cake at the top...very nice cake by the way

What a hike . Love this 8 mile hike , with a pub 2 miles in!

Excellent cake , quiche was good too.

Water is in the tea urns. Bins are holes in the wall !

Box Hill was originally built out of cardboard boxes & was in the shape of a massive tank to distract and trick the Luftwaffe. After the war much of the boxes were removed and this is all that remains

Keep it simple. Cup of tea is better than a capucinno.

Had 2 coffees and a biscuit , the biscuit cost £2.05, I queried the price and was told it was gluten fee, no price displayed, or that it was gluten free . Would not have purchased, at that price.
