Lovely place to go for a walk, with great views and can see for miles on a clear day . Dog friendly .
Do any one of the following races on Box Hill - picnic , midsummer munro, the fell run, Y2Y or knacker cracker - all well organised and friendly events - bit of hill involved though
Great location nearby London to go for walks, running, or simply to sit down, to have a picnic & enjoy the outdoors! Cyclists & Motorcyclists meeting point. Here's our walk http://youtu.be/8L_sgMBLS7o
Motorbikes can park for free if not a member as its impractical to display a ticket, but a donation to the National Trust would be appreciated.
Particularly pleasant on a summer evening just before sunset
The nature walk goes through beautiful & quiet woods. Careful at the end though the trail gets confusing.
Stop for a picnic a little short of the top. You still get a great view but none of the crowds.
The children's trail is great fun!
Most beautiful place in uk

Gorgeous hillside for a picnic looking over Dorking and across to Leith Hill. There are a several walking routes shown on the National Trust sign in the car park. - Phil Kench
Challenging but exciting for a 3yr old. The steps have a good rough surface and have good grip even when wet. - Phil Kench
Friendly, accommodating pub. Enjoyed a hearty jacket potato tho was tempted by the Sunday roast - Chris Covey
Great for a celebration meal out with the family. More than ample portion sizes and very tasty. - Marc B
