Best continental style cafe in Canberra. And they have San Pellegrino sparkling water, instead of the mafia-owned rubbish product everyone else serves in this town .
Nice selection of pastries etc, however very slack service. Similar to rural areas of underdeveloped countries . 30min wait for a long black and the cafe is half empty, with a full complement of staff .
Best bread , fruit & cream mini / large tarts in Canberra.
Amazing bread and good cakes . Expensive cheeses . Be sure to count your change properly though as they have often overcharged me. If busy be warned they have no clue about queue control here.
Love it!!!!!. Great food flavour, yum yum pastry and bread products...en not too bad $
They have some fantastic baked goods here. Wouldn't say the service was great, took a while to take our order and no smiles from the staff ... But would try again :)
Every Friday they make giant tarts and a slice is just $6.
great bread and food, service has gone down in quality over the past few years - rude and abrupt staff on the cafe side - staff behind the counter dealing with bread , pasteries etc are still friendly
Staff were really friendly today, even though busy. They let us know it would take a while for our lunch as they were in between b'fast & lunch menu .
Get down early on the weekend for a pastry or loaf of fresh bread – the lines stretch out the door!
Everything. Everything is good
Creme caramel tart (not cheap though).
Great place, unrivalled really for Canberra's Inner South
Silo will be closed from noon 24 Dec thru to Jan 23 so stock up on bread .
There is an unwritten law here regarding queuing but as many out-of-towners tend to come here it's mostly chaos. A few signs would not go astray
Pear and caramel tart . Heavenly
Staff were brusque but efficient. Chaotic queuing. Welsh Rarebit for breakfast great.
Bread and cheese for breakfast was amazing.
Some of the best bread in Australia !!
Good food but the staff seem to have forgotten about friendly service . They're a bit arrogant. The "first come, first served" rule doesn't apply here for some inexplicable reason.
Amazing food and very good service .
For the sweet tooth, always check out the last item on the menu.
Service is not very well organised, what can one expect, this is Australia !
Great coffee , surly service.
Shocking service from extremely rude staff .
Great coffee and food at Bittersweet Cafe - Matt Duckworth
My favourite thai take away in Kingston. Love the cashew nut chicken, great massaman sauce and if order is over $50 they add extra entrees for free. - Andrea Quiroz
Average food... falafels very dry. Meat dry and salty. - Tomfoolery
Agree with Cameron - the pies are very good. Cheap too! - Nev Owens
Best bread in Canberra. Pastries are just as delicious. Little or no GF options. - Teresa G
Their bourbon and dark chocolate pecan pies are a perfectly balance of flavours. If you're after grab and go tucker, the beef and fennel sausage rolls hit the spot. - Dan
The art here is great. A Must in Canberra if you are a tourist. - Anusuya Puri
It's actually really nice inside. Marbled staircases! Definitely some good views of Canberra from the roof. - Mimi
Open air market with lots of choices between product, baked goods and coffee - JH H-D
