Great location to arrange shuttles to the top of Narrows or other trails . However, don't rent the boots here. Even if you spend hours fitting, they won't fit well in the water and blisters happen.
If you have a solid pair of hiking boots with good traction that fit you well , skip renting the canyoneering boots . Renting shoes runs the risk of them not fitting, leaving you with painful blisters .
Affordable rentals. Walking stick socks and shoes to keep feet warmer in the narrows . Great 8 minute video on tips for hiking narrows was helpful
If you're hiking the Narrows , definitely rent a walking stick from here. Guaranteed to spare you at least 3 faceplants into the river .
I don't see the point of guided tours . The whole park is lovely by one's self.
