A lot of tourists live here in kovalam for 2 or 3 months, so this beach is quite proper for the ones who are shy to wear a bikini while the local girls are swimming in sarees.

Good place to watch the sunset . You can find some purple jelly fish washed ashore but they are harmless. Try the lighthouse beach right beside this.
