In misty weather, these beech trees are amazingly spooky. You'll find them hard to photograph unless you come early in the morning as your shot will be spoilt by the crowds trying to do the same.

Olly Stedall

The trees have been used as a filming location in HBO's epic series Game of Thrones, representing the King's Road . In season 2 episode 1, Arya Stark, disguised as a boy, travels down the road .

Olly Stedall

The trees were planted by the Stuart family in the 18th century, as a landscape feature to impress visitors to their home, Gracehill House. Two centuries later, they remain a magnificent sight.

Beautiful spot. Best if you park up at the hotel and walk down. The trees are nicer with fewer cars in the way ????

Jordan

A must visit for any Game of Thrones fan while in Northern Ireland. Park your car at either end of the road and enjoy the amazing walk under the dark hedges

Rachel Clark

The trees are 200 years into a 220 year lifespan and some are lost to storms each year. Go see them soon before they're gone!

Jasmine

It was absolutely beautiful - wish we could have been there with the sun because the dark sky was sort of dreary. But amazing none the less.

There's an area to pullover and park the car, if you're coming from B15 (from the east), right before the bend. I think the best views are also from that side (looking northwest).

Olly Stedall

Visitors are advised to park in the nearby hotel and walk down the lane, rather than driving down, which is causing damage to the verges, and spoiling the photo opportunities for visitors. Read more

Really nice Game of Thrones scene "The King's Road ". People said it is difficult to find but we just added to google maps and follow it on the phone without a problem

Gorgeous photo ops and a chance to relish in the beauty of nature. GoT fans will love it.

Taylor Moll

It’s a pedestrian path now, so it’s lovely that you can walk down it; however, parking to be able to walk it is extremely limited.

Very cool road - featured in numerous films and travel blogs - go early or late to avoid the crowds of people .

Daniele Proano

If you love GoT this is a must see. Worth a quick visit.

Kendal Cockrel

Might not be super interesting if you aren’t a GOT fan. Still, beautiful even with the crowds of people .

Lana Mayra

A beautiful and very old street with trees , beside GOT it’s worth to visit

Carlo Pinna

Visit early in the morning or late in the evening to get a chance of taking a perfect photo

pieter v

Overpopulated but not overrated! So scenic ! You can park at the hedges hotel for free in the evening and just walk up!

Rob Maas

Pedestrians only! Read the signs and park your car ????

Adam

One for the game of thrones fans . When all’s said and done, it’s just a road with some trees either side.

Amber

Driving or parking on the road is illegal. Don’t be that guy. Park in the hotel parking lot like everyone else.

Very beautiful worth a visit

Nature at its fine beauty

TW ✈️????????

They pruned all the trees so it’s not what it once was... saw better hedged roads on our way to/from.

Debbie Brown

Go early in the morning to avoid idiots standing taking photographs of each other

Filbert W

Beautiful road , but so full of tourists !

Jonathan Goodman

Walk; don't drive past

Miltos Tr

For GOT fans only. Just trees .

It’s a beautiful walk but it does not worth to go out of your way to get here. You’ll be done in no time.

michele boccalini

Esperienza davvero bella in un viale suggestivo . Per gli amanti se " il trono di spade " è una chicca da vedere

Pedro Pimenta

Uma estrada que dependendo de como tirar a foto fica bem bonita. Mas nada mais que uma estrada. Famosa pelo Game of Thrones.
