McConnells Mill State Park, in Lawrence County, encompasses 2,546 acres of the spectacular Slippery Rock Creek Gorge. Created by the draining of glacial lakes thousands of years ago, the gorge has steeps sides and the valley floor is littered with huge boulders and is a national natural landmark.

The hell's hollow hike is very challenging and long but worth it, there are many waterfalls , caves and beautiful views .
Park at the top and walk down the stairs to the mill ! Mill tours go till 4 pm on weekdays.
There is VERY limited parking at the Mill itself, so park up the hill and walk down the path/steps if you're able.
