The guy working there was competent and really helpful. All maps, timetables etc are available in English.

Closed as of November 2012. There's a good English speaking visitor centre some kms out of town .

Buy direct bus tickets to Taipei frm here. Buses take 3.5hours.

Staffs here are very helpful

Staff here couldn't speak english and the toilets were dirty .

Staff here looks unhappy to service or provide information to tourist .

台中駅からバスで移動したらココで情報を集めると良いでしょう。日本語は通じませんが、英語は問題ありません。オススメはこの奥の駐車場 付近で借りられる、電動スクーターでの移動です。「台湾の免許ないよ？」って言っても借りられました。
