La Médina de Fès, au coeur de la culture arabo-andalouse, qui rapprocha pendant plus de 8 siècles les 2 rives de la Méditerranée.
30000 Fès Morocco
Be ready for a lot of new impressions in this beautiful place. Might be a good idea to get a guide (especially if you're short of time) since there are over 9000 (!) streets to get lost on. Enjoy!
Awful smell...easy to get lost...nothing special to buy ...although people are lovely and smilie ...funny tip watch out you may come face to face with a cute little donkey!!!!!
The place to be is The Riad Der elyasmine, ask for Aziz he will REALLY help u out with your trips and knows everything in the medina! Also try the maroccan crêpes as a snack !
Beware, you *will* get lost. Accept it and make sure to turn your gps on. Seriously though, do it.
Great historic architecture , cheap and delicious food, very fascinating maze of atmospheric narrow paths with a lot of stalls and shops
Stunning maze of twisting alleys filled with workshops, mosques and markets .
Fes el Bali, the Medina of Fes is one of the oldest medinas in the world and should be a must see-do on any tourist things to do when visiting Morocco.
An extraordinary place is the old city , which is definitely a must visit in Fes. Surrounded by tall ancient walls, you fell completely out of touch with the western world. Hire a guide and find your w
Get lost in the caos and find relaxing spots like this within the city .
Nice old town but many young guys offer you “free” guided tours and trying to ask a lot of money at the end as a tip
So much history to learn and visit but unfortunately the locals are not up to the standard of their city , trash everywhere, rude people, scammers and con artists everywhere and the worst false guides .
Be prepared for the labyrinth narrow streets.. an exotic experience.. you must see the zillij tileworks of medresa, amazing..
Largest car-free (populated) area in the world.
The blue door :) nice, straight to market ;))
Get a guide , have a nice time and safe money too!
The medina is awesome , definitely get a guide from your hotel !
Beware of street kids that offer you to guide and show the way, they are rude impolite and ask a lot money at the end
An official guide looks like the best idea for the first day, then, lose yourself among the souks !
There is nothing else like this place. It does have some interesting parts, but this place operates on such a high level of intensity that it can stress you and be very unpleasant.
For directions ask shopkeepers or women, otherwise you may find someone "too helpful"
a crazy, hectic place; a recommended experience; not for the feeble of heart though
my favorite place!
Visit the souks not too early... But not too late! They close a lot of places after 2 pm until 4 pm
Once in fez do as the Fasdis do
I would be happy to be your guide here in Fes. Feel free to ask
Dirty and smelly streets, aggressive people who curse you and shout at you if you don't want to go to their riad. They are always giving wrong directions, then ask for money.

Plenty of markets !
Hello from Fes you welcome here
Fckin chaos!
Learn to haggle!
It is almost impossible not to lose there, but to be honest - it might be the best solution!
Prendete una strada e cercate di uscire dalla parte opposta se ci riuscite!
Es un must visitar esta medina.
Um labirinto di stradine e bancarelle
A revisiter plusieurs fois !

No me gustó.
No dejará indiferente, un contraste extraordinario!
Impresionante lugar e impactante
Moroccan gates are just impressive! And you can always get a taxi here! - Xenia Temchenko
A must see in Fes. Be ready for the bad smell but definitely worth it. You need to see it from the stores (which will try hard to sell you stuff) or you can pay (in our case 30DH) to access a terrace - David Bento
A small school that allows a few quick and pretty pictures if you are lucky enough to have no other tourists in the shot. 😏😁 - Matthias
Fabulous cafe near the Blur gate, very tasty and with great atmosphere - Konstantin Tregub
