Amazing collection of O'Keefe's work that shows her growth as a person and an artist . If you love the NM landscapes, stop by to gain a new appreciation as you drive through.
Small museum , lots of photographs of Georgia and keepsakes, not too many works of hers, but well organized , lots of info, and friendly and knowledgeable staff .
Unfortunate how small the museum is and tiny the collection compared to the vast output of the artist . You’ll learn much more and have a greater appreciation for her genius on a tour at Ghost Ranch.
Tight, well-curated museum where virtually every work is interesting, and it gives plenty of detail into the artist 's life. Worth checking out.
Love the art , but the museum is rather small and sports a hefty price tag ($13.50 for adults). Still - worth a visit!
Georgia O'Keeffe would often paint in her car. She referred to her Model 'A' Ford as her favorite studio. Learn more in this C-SPAN American History TV video. Read more
Obviously a must. You can do this small museum very quickly if you have to, but I'd recommend taking your time.
The collection was smaller than I expected, although there were some pieces that aren't published or reproduced anywhere. So that was nice. The gift shop ladies are extremely helpful and knowledgeable
Movies provide excellent background. They are part of the North American. Reciprocal Museum , so we got free entry. (Video phones not included.)
Curator guide is worth trying. Unlike our stereotypes, G O'Keeffe took very detailed, long, systematic processes in painting ! But she had denied it!!
A must in Santa Fe and easily doable in 45 minutes (or much longer if you like). Good rotating exhibits as well .
Small Georgia O'keeffe section. Mostly curated shows, which are really good. The group shows can range from artists like Chuck Close to Warhol to Norman Rockwell.
Incredible museum ! Make sure to bring a camera because they allow photography of certain works!
Make sure you mention you are military (active or retired) and it is free for the member and family.
Download the app to take the tour and find out detailed info about her work.
Love to purchase the Georgia calendar here yearly!
Bring your ear buds and download the audio tour app
Do the audio tour !
Falling in love with my favorite artist again, rediscovering O'Keeffe. Love, love, love...
Not super small, but don't expect to see tons of her works, and there were no large scale pieces on display of hers. Other travelling exhibit was a nice surprise.
I echo the other commenters. The museum has a robust permanent collection. But just a slice of it, perhaps 8-12 O'Keeffe works, is on display . Truly disappointing.
Finally checking this out and getting inspired.
Perfect! Love this place!
Wonderful but tour app does not support Windows phones.
Small, beautiful, and the most of O'Keeffe you'll see anywhere!
Audio tour is an extra $3 and definitely worth it.
Beautiful art by Georgia O’Keeffe!
It's very interested
Smaller than you expect. You'll likely not need more than an hour to fully appreciate.
No photography allowed inside, but a extremely varied collection that I quite enjoyed.
This woman lived in Canyon Texas. Seriously!
Ceviche & cocktails ????
A must do!
Surprised how little of O'Keefe's work was on display .
Small but good; current susan rothenberg exhibit was a nice surprise
Spent two hours, still not enough.
Disappointingly small
Very little o'keefe on display :(
Small museum with some interesting paintings in the permanent collection, but value really depends upon the special exhibits. Do check out the beautiful theater that’s part of the museum. - eric bornemann
Authentic and broad overview of native art for the past few hundred years. - kraig keller
Love that city!! Lots of musicians, art, history, shops and great food! A definite MUST see at the Miraculous Stairway in the Loretto Chapel. - Dee Lary
The enchiladas plate is amazing; if you like spicy, spring for the green, but the red is to die for. - Jake Smith
The chili chocolate was amazing ... get a coconut macaroon if they have them! - Amelia Mani
