They are very proud of their veg adaptable menu. Get your acting chops on & ask your waiter if you can get the charbroiled steak veg style. Their expression is worth the 1.5 hour wait! Then tip big ;)

Really enjoyed the blue corn enchiladas . Make sure to order it Christmas style to get both red and green sauce . Nice touch with garlic bread instead of tortillas or sopapillas as a side. Go early!

Outstanding food and drinks. We had the Don margaritas , and the burritos smothered in green chili sauce - which was hot! All was excellent- best Mexican food I've ever had.

Fairly standard NM cuisine, but very well prepared and delivered with pro service. Nice bar program with a focus on margaritas . I was delighted by a mescal-based version. Waits can be long.

Enchilada is definitely excellent. Al dente corn tortilla cooked just right and red sauce was beautifully spicy . One of the best enchilada I’ve ever had.

The tamales are amazing. All the plates come with garlic bread — you will need this to counterbalance the heat. It seems weird but it’s really good.

Great red chili here. Christmas chicken enchiladas are good too. Classic Santa Fe. Must make a reservation for dinner . Crazy busy with tourists . Their sister restaurant , La Choza, is a little calmer.

Try the guacamole !! It's excellent.
