Just unbelievably tragic that nearly six years after the 2011 Canterbury earthquake, the icon of Christchurch, its cathedral , still lies in ruins.
As of February 2014, Central Christchurch is still ruined and the Cathedral is in ruins. It is still unfortunately in doubt whether or not it can be saved.
It's been like this since 2010
