The second oldest pub in Durham city centre, and the only one left in the market place. Always great beers on offer, just come in and ask for a pint. You know it makes sense.
Nice atmosphere and recently been refurbished. Possibly the warmest bar this side of Dubai. Slightly over priced since the refurb though. £3+ for a john smiths.
Predictably located on the Market Square, a good drinking pub with a range of ales , beers and wines
