A unique place! Two choices on entrance. Left takes you to a modern bar , which is also used as a tea room . Right takes you to a very warm bar , lit by gas lamps on the bar . Good choice of real ale .
Its 1 of the very few gas lit pubs around which is very atmospheric but also quite hot which can be a bit overwhelming at times but the friendly welcome & relaxed atmosphere more than makes up for it!
